  • "Emily was my guardian angel!  She made my birthing experience perfect.  She was always a call or text away before the birth and after. Once in labor, if I could even call it that, Emily was always one step ahead.  She gave me the strength that I never knew I had.  During the transition stage, Emily helped talk me through my fears and gave me the confidence and courage needed to birth my little boy.  I can honestly say that my birthing experience was perfect because of Emily!"

    -Dani G

  • "We will be forever thankful for the support and encouragement that Emily provided during our pregnancy and delivery.  She has a calming presence that helped me to have the confidence that I could have the natural birth that I wanted.

    - Kristin T

  • I had my first baby with Emily as our doula. She is the BEST investment I have made this whole pregnancy. I cannot explain the peace of mind she brought to me not only throughout the pregnancy, but especially during my long delivery! I LOVE that throughout our entire time with Emily, she was always team mom AND dad. She was thinking about all three of us and ensuring I had what I needed, but that my husband did as well.

    -Sierra T

  • If you want the most experience we have witnessed in the area for a doula-Hire her! Though she is pricey she brings so many resources, equipment, and expertise that make her price worth it. Every tool you could want in labor-she has it - with tons of techniques, tens, CUB, peanut balls, TRX slings, etc. We had two previous complicated 36 hour labors when we hired her. We were so comfortable in her hands it helped us on our path of being at peace no matter what happened this go round. And that definitely aided us in our precipitous 3 hour Hbac with zero complications! She was so professional and calm even with the craziness of it moving that fast that we never had any fear of what was happening.

  • My husband and I had planned a homebirth for the birth of first child. Our little girl, however, had other plans and a premature membrane rupture caused us to transfer to the hospital. Emily was there EVERY step of the way. She came to our house for hours while I was still in early labor and then followed us to the hospital when it was time to transfer. My labor was extremely long (40 hours) and Emily was hands-on the entire process, helping me into different positions to encourage descent, coaching me through contractions and showing my husband how to best support me. Although we had the support of fabulous nurses and staff at the hospital, it was extremely comforting having Emily there from start to finish- especially since there were 3 shift changes.

    - Sierra P

  • My husband and I have had the privilege of birthing with Emily for all three of our children’s births.   From the moment that we met her , I knew that Emily would be a steady, caring, and positive presence in the delivery room and I absolutely wanted her to be our doula. She really assessed my cues and seemed to intuitively know exactly what I wanted every step of the way.  Her quiet voice and gentle touch were so soothing to me, but she was also able to provide strong double hip squeezes when I needed it!  I had three very different pregnancies and births and was so grateful to have Emily for support during all of them.  Anytime an issue or question arose during pregnancy we were grateful to be able to talk through options with Emily and decide how we were going to approach the situation.   She made us feel supported during times where we faced uncertainty and was always a positive voice offering encouragement.

    -Beth P

  • I have had the unique priviledge of not only being a client of Emily's for my second baby, but also attending births alongside of her, as I am also a birth photographer. I chose her as my doula after seeing her calm, empowering presence at many births.

Although I anticipated a smooth, fast labor and birth at home with my midwife, husband, and mother, I still wanted the best insurance policy I could buy: a doula. Should things go off-course, I needed to have Emily by my side to help me navigate a change in plans.

    -Dallas A

  • The moment she arrived my husband and I felt instant safety and security. Upon arriving at our home she quietly worked her magic; getting things in order for our midwife and for postpartum care. She was a gentle, reassuring presence, coaching me through contractions, keeping in contact with our midwife, while also including my husband. When I was exhausted and frustrated with pushing I said under my breath “I can’t” and without missing a beat, heard Emily say back, “Yes you can.” I know without a doubt I would not have had such a smooth homebirth experience without her. I am forever grateful to her and cherish the photos and videos she quietly captured.

We love Emily and can not recommend her highly enough to anyone thinking about hiring a doula!

  • Emily was my doula for all three of my unmedicated hospital births, and I truly could not have done it without her. With each pregnancy, she offered continual support and guidance as different issues arose. She was readily available for phone calls and texts, which was especially helpful in the last few weeks before birth. All three pregnancies and births were very different. My first baby was OP, my second was speedy and almost born in the parking lot, and my third was pretty straight forward. Emily was able to support me with specific strategies for a safe delivery in all of those scenarios.

    -Morgan M

  • I used Emily for the birth of my Son and she was amazing through the entire process! As a health care professional, many would think that they don’t need a Doula. Using Emily provided myself and my husband with the ability to focus on achieving our desired birth plan without any of the stress. She was our advocate and also our coach throughout the entire process.

    Erika, Chiropractor
